A Simple Journey to the 5+2 Life

If I had more followers, this would be so much easier.

Ever thought that?

I have.

All. The. Time.

What I love, though, is that Gospel-living is so much different than what we see in the world of social media influencing. What I have come to realize more and more is that the more I seek Jesus, the less I have to perform. Such a simple concept, yet I find myself running from the method time and time again.

Why?

It’s not glamorous.

The swipe up feature, 10K followers, all the reels views, partnerships, sponsors, story shares- all these things are seen as the golden ticket to a successful social selling business.

But what if it was about so much more (and less) than that? What if the goal of my life wasn’t to be the top social seller or highest “followed” Christian blogger?

What if my goal was to take what I have been given from the Lord- my time, talent and treasure, and use it to glorify Him instead of me? What if my social media presence wasn’t about selling a product, but giving away hope- the hope found through a relationship with Jesus.

Over the next 21 days, I am going to be journeying through the Gospel of John. If you haven’t read much of the Bible, John is a great place to start. In this 21 chapter book, you and I will get a glimpse of Jesus- His nature, character, attitude and sacrificial love.

I want to invite you to commit to reading one chapter a day for the next 21 days. In this way, you will join me in experiencing the 5+2 life.
